Tivoli dome candle - Soft Pink
Candles shaped like the iconic Tivoli dome.
Originally, Tivoli was illuminated by oil lamps, many of which were designed as small, round shaped glass in different colors. When gas lights were introduced, work continued on the round design and created a dome to shield the gas flame and create mood lights in Tivoli. Michael Bang designed a number of Tivoli domes in Copenhagen in 1967. They were all manufactured at Holmegaard's old Glass Factory in Næstved, Denmark.
The dome can be seen as decorations many places in the Tivoli Garden.
