Tivoli Glass Hall by Kâhler
The popular Urbania lighthouse by Kähler shaped as Tivoli's iconic Glass Hall from 1946.
Tivoli, music and theatre have always gone hand in hand. The Glass Hall Theatre was built in 1946 in the same style as the previous building on the site, which burned down during World War II. The current building was designed by renowned Danish architect Poul Henningsen (affectionately known as PH), who was Tivoli's head architect at the time.
The Glass Hall is a historic building in Tivoli where celebrities from all over the world have performed over time.
The characteristic octagonal glass building, that was rebuiled in 1946, expresses Poul Henningsens architectural distinctiveness. The Glass Hall is a unique backdrop for events with shows and performances all year round.
