Tivoli’s main entrance has been the gateway to fun and enjoyment since 1890. The large entrance-arch and it’s two beautiful side pavilions was built by the architects Richardt Bergmann and Emil Blichfeldt in 1980. The main entrance marks the transition from every-day life to a world of fairy tales and wonder: the world of Tivoli.

The lovely Kähler light house is characterised by a special shape of form where the tight silhouette of the building inspires creativity in every shape of the windows, of whom all are gently carved by hand and creates the most beautiful lighting.

From the beginning of the 20th century, horn painting was a great opportunity for the female painters at the Kähler workshop in the Danish town of Næstved to develop an individual style, giving each design a personal and handmade touch.
