Kähler Tealight House - Tivoli Glass Hall

Glassalen in Tivoli is one of the Gardens’ most iconic buildings and a symbol of Tivoli’s proud tradition of music, theatre, and entertainment.

The current Glass Hall was rebuilt in 1946 after the original building was destroyed during World War II. The building was designed by the renowned Danish architect Poul Henningsen (PH), who served as Tivoli’s chief architect at the time.

The distinctive octagonal glass building is a remarkable example of Danish architecture and has, for decades, served as the venue for concerts, theatre productions, revues, and performances by internationally acclaimed artists and celebrities.

Today, Glassalen remains a central part of Tivoli and provides a unique setting for shows, events, and cultural experiences throughout the year. A living piece of Danish cultural history that combines architecture, entertainment, and the special atmosphere of Tivoli.
